B-Day for Button's Birthday

As I started thinking of some of the things I wanted to do for Annabelle's 5th birthday it occurred to me that they all started with the letter B. That is how the idea for B-Day for Button's Birthday was born. The day started off with breakfast followed by a bubble bath. Then the real fun began; a trip to Party City to get Balloons. I was prepared for Annabelle to pick out a giant balloon and that's just what she did, at first. She went straight towards a giant Disney Princess Castle balloon that was as big as she is. On our way to the checkout she spotted a small round Barbie Balloon that she wanted instead. I was a little crushed. Annabelle is apparently more frugal than her momma because I spotted a pony balloon and convinced her to get that one as well. Next on the agenda was a trip to the Beach were the girls spent several happy minutes with their buckets and shovels.That was followed by a lunch of Baked Beans, opening Boxes and after an unfortunate incident getting out of the car, a second trip to Party City for birthday Balloons. In case you're wondering, there is no discount for fly-away balloons, even on a little girl's 5th birthday. We finished the day with a dinner of delcious Burritos and a trip to Baskin-Robbins (But really Cold Stone Creamery, I had a coupon. Unfortunately, it dosen't start with a B). I thought it was a successful day, but don't take it from me. "Mom, this was the best birthday ever!" -Annabelle
